Each year Jeff & I choose a word that we feel sums up our goals for the coming year. Last year we chose Gracious for our One Little Word and as we discussed our word for 2012, we noticed that INTENTIONAL always came up in conversation.

Adjective: Done on purpose; deliberate.
Synonyms: deliberate - wilful - willful - purposeful - intended
We want to be intentional about making the most of every opportunity that comes our way.
Intentionally scheduling date nights for the two of us.
Intentional about how we schedule our weekends for our family of three.
We will be intentional in how we parent Andrew.
Intentional about maintaining healthy, loving relationships with our families.
Intentional in picking up the phone & calling friends & family. Not relying on social media to be our main source of communication with those we know & love.
Intentional about how we spend our time and money.
Intentionally opening up our home for game nights and quality time with our friends.
Intentional about cultivating healthy eating and exercising habits.
We will be intentional in our conversations with others-- listening more & talking less.
Intentional about unplugging from the computer & television.
Intentional about reading books, playing outside and enjoying life.
Intentionally growing in our relationship with the Lord through daily quiet times & church family.
Intentional about serving the Lord & making the most of every oppurtunity that comes our way.
So be careful to live your life wisely, not foolishly. Take advantage of every opportunity because these are evil times. Because of this, don’t be ignorant, but understand the Lord’s will... always give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; and submit to each other out of respect for Christ.
