Metro Family Camp 2011



A couple of weekends back the Young's took over attended MBC Family Camp in Glen Rose, Texas.  We had a great time hanging with our friends and family and one ROUGH NIGHT with Andrew.  This night taught Jeff & I a great lesson in not allowing our outside circumstances ruin our inner joy or the experience.  Ha!  Who knew that Andrew's cutting teeth pain, lingering viral infection and being in a new place would teach us a a powerful lesson on how to respond to things outside of our control?!



I just thought he would stay like this all night...





Other than THAT some of my favorite things from this weekend include...

1) switching boys with Meredith so we could cuddle with our nephews during Friday night worship.
2) the hayride under the stars (reminded me of Deer Run nights) 
3) my walking "date" with Jacob Saturday morning after breakfast. 
4) sharing grapes on the ball court with the two younger boys
5) Hearing Andrew say "Zachy" & "Jay-Cub" every time he saw his two boy cousins.
6) Jacob calling me Miss Susan instead of Aunt SueSue and saying "he calls me that when we are @ church" LOL!
7) watching Meredith play the guitar during our praise & worship time (what an answer to prayer :D)
