It seems like only yesterday---snow & ice on the road--Aunt SueSue was spending the night with the soon to be big sisters, while my brother drove my laboring sister in law Missy to the hospital to give birth to what we would soon find out was a Baby Boy. I loved hearing the joy in my brother's voice calling me in the wee hours of the morning to say "It's a BOY!"
Elijah, today you turn 6 years old! SIX! Where did the time go? You were our first nephew & when you came into this world, you introduced your Uncle Jeff and I to a world beyond Barbies and "spa treatments." Your heart is bigger than Texas and we love your zest for life! Kid, you are ALL boy & we wouldn't change a thing about ya! We love you to pieces! Thank you for being you & loving your cousin Andrew like you do! Here's to a wonderful SIXTH birthday! May it be filled with sugar & spice and everything nice...no, wait that's for little girls. May YOUR day be filled with frogs and snails and puppy dog tails, because that's what little BOYS are made of! :)
