Our friends Kelli and Kendall joined us again this year. This is our third year of doing swim lessons together and it's a fun summer tradition for us all.
We have been blessed to have some great teachers with us each year. Our teachers this year were so sweet with the kids and patient, very, very patient. Andrew wasn't always the most agreeable student and really didn't want anyone to tell him what to do. Yes, he beats to his own drum. But by the end of the two weeks, they just started to grab him and say "Let's go Andrew, you don't have a choice." Andrew loves the water and that is what Jeff and I wanted for him more than anything. But let's be honest, Andrew wasn't the easiest student to have but nothing a Spiderman kick board and set of rings couldn't fix...
Yep, was the second day of lessons. He was NOT having it & NOTHING would get him to do what he was supposed to do. Thankfully Eric did a great job coaching him in the pool.
These three could start their own drum line because they each beat their own drum a time or two. The mom's and I just had to laugh and go with it. We had a great time and enjoyed the two weeks hanging with old friends and meeting new ones.
